Dawsonera is an ebook platform that hosts ebooks that the library owns and many that it doesn't own.
You have the choice of reading books online, or downloading the ebook as either a pdf or epub file and reading it on your desktop, tablet or mobile. When you read online, you are able to copy, make notes and print pages from the book.
Note: you can only print or copy around 5-10% of a book
Dawsonera ebooks can be accessed on Windows and Mac computers, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices using the Adobe Digital Editions app, which you can download from the Adobe website. Dawsonera ebooks will also work with another app, Bluefire reader, but a) this is no longer supported and b) is not free.
Adobe Digital Editions will work with a large number of devices, including some ereaders
Note: You cannot download Dawsonera ebooks to your Kindle
What can you read on Dawsonera?
There are over 500,000 books on Dawsonera. The library has full-text access to a very small number. If you are browsing or searchng through Dawsonera, these icons will let you know whether you can read the book or not.

If the library doesn't own a book, you can look at the first 50 pages of it for 5 minutes.
