The Future Building Skills team at ETBI has developed a comprehensive set of Career Charts that outline the Further Education and Training (FET) skills courses available through the Education and Training Boards (ETBs) nationwide. These Career Charts serve as a valuable resource for school-leavers, individuals seeking to upskill and those contemplating a career change, providing an insight into the various pathways and career options accessible through the local ETB.
Currently, the FET Skills Career Charts are available for several sectors, including Construction, Climate & Green, Tourism & Hospitality, Healthcare and Business. ETBI Future Building Skills team is actively working on the development of additional Career Charts.
ETBI FET Skills boxes containing folders with the Career Charts have been distributed to Career Guidance Counsellors working in FET, Post-Primary education and other providers. This resource aims to provide Career Guidance Counsellors with comprehensive information on Further Education and Training career choices and pathways across various sectors. To explore the Career Charts for each sector, firstly please click the sector tile of interest below. You will then be directed to an interactive career chart where you can select the sub heading that captures your interest to explore courses. This will lead you to the Further Education and Training Course Hub (FETCH), where you can view the list of available courses, ETB contact details and application information.
