A new blog post, Making the Cut: Diary of a Butcher Participating in the World Butchers' Challenge, has been published in our blog, Inside FET.
We have a new logo and have tweaked the banner at the top of the page accordingly. We've tested the new banner on mobile devices and it's fine, but if the new banner messes up the display, contact us
We'll also be changing the home page shortly, and this What's New column will disappear; all info about new features, sections, pages and resources can still be found in the What's New section
Another new resource: GreenFILE is a research database covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more
Tutorial on Mendeley Reference Manager added to Tutorials section.
We've integrated our new Library Answers section into our resource guides. On each resource guide, ask a question on the help page or look for answers on a new Questions page.
The Library has started a newsletter. We will send out a regular newsletter to keep you up-to-date on what is new with the Digital Library. The newsletter is circulated by email once every two weeks with updates on new resources, guides, eBooks and more. We will sometimes email more often for particularly notable updates. You can find out more information and subscribe on our Newsletter page.
We've also reorganised the A to Z page listing, which shouldn't require as much scrolling through now
The Library has subscribed to a new eBook platform: the EBSCO eBooks for FE Subscription Collection provides access to over 7,000 ebooks selected for use in the UK FET sector.
