If you don't have a more traditional IT device or face competition for their use, then if you can access an XBox or PlayStation4/5, you can use these to get online to access the likes of Microsoft Office and therefore Teams You may lose a little functionality and it helps you if you have accessories such as a headset or proper keyboard, but a games console can be very useful for not losing out in times when remote learning is required.
What you need
Useful to have
Use the game controller to navigate around the screen or connect a mouse
This video shows you how to do this on an XBox (not a PS4/5 despite what the caption states)
The PS5 does not have a web browser, however if you have a Twitter(!) account, it still possible to access Office and other sites
This methods allows you to access sites via Twitter links: you can't types URLs into the address bar, as that is locked, but you can search Twitter for links
The same procedures apply for other tools and sites; if something is available through the Internet, it can be accessed on an XBox or PS4 and possibly a PS5.
Zoom is not really accessible through an XBox or PlayStation. In theory, you could connect to Zoom on another device and screencast to the XBox using Chromecast, but if you have a device and know how to screencast, you can do it directly to your TV and omit the XBox steps.Perhaps it's just simply to use Zoom on a more traditional device.
With regard to the PlayStation, this page has a complicated set of instructions for accessing Zoom on the PS4. The instructions given for the PS5 won't work.
