Like other Library resources, the Point of View home page has a Google-like search box
Type your search terms and press the Search button. If you want to search for a phrase, it is better to put quotation marks around it. For example, if you want to search for "Scottish independence", if you don't use quotation marks you will see results that contain the words "Scottish" and "independence" anywhere in the item; not necessarily the phrase "Scottish independence". As with other library resources, as you type you may see suggested search terms appear as you type. Below the search box, you will see all Points of View content.
Content is gathered together under a number of headings (Addiction and Substance Abuse, Animal Rights, etc.) Click on More to see more titles under a heading.
Also, like other resources, there is an advanced search option.
Because there's less variety and less content in general, the advanced search options are probably of little use in searching Points of View; most of the options are simply not needed (e.g., publication type or limiters).
Here is a page on another resource guide describing the options available through Advanced Search
