The John Kelly Award for UDL in Further & Higher Education

• The John Kelly Award for Universal Design in Further and Higher Education recognises the innovative practice of teaching staff in further and higher education engaging with the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to deliver a more inclusive learning experience for their students. It is targeted at practitioners who have demonstrated their emergent commitment to UDL by undertaking the Digital Badge for Universal Design in Teaching & Learning and making exciting changes to their practice above and beyond their initial redesign. Applications open April 25th until June 5th.

GATHER - Discovering Assistive Technology Together

• This free 3 day online event, that gathers our Assistive Technology (AT) Community in Further and Higher Education, is a space to meet online, share ideas and insights about the multifaceted topic of AT and how it is part of student success. The event runs the three days on May 31st , June 1st and June 2nd, will include presentations, demonstrations and discussions.

ARK - Accessibility Resources and Know-How

• ARK provides practical resources and know-how to support a range of institutional staff to be more accessible in their roles, and supports colleges and centres to consider a whole institution approach to digital accessibility, meet their legal obligations, boost accessibility compliance, and provide a better digital experience for all.
