The Irish Film Institute
- The IFI is Ireland’s national cultural institution for film. It provides audiences throughout Ireland with access to independent, Irish and international cinema; it preserves and promotes Ireland’s moving image heritage through the IFI Irish Film Archive and provides opportunities for audiences of all ages and backgrounds to learn and critically engage with film – including by way of the IFI Archive Player.

- This is an online database of information related to films, television series’, online content, podcasts, home videos and video games. This site is useful for movie clips, trailers, cast details, production crew biographies, plot summaries, trivia, ratings, and fan and critical reviews.

Scoilnet/Press Pass
- Introduces learners to a variety of media texts such as interviews, news reports, feature articles and sports commentaries. Whilst Press Pass is aimed at TY students, some schools run the programme for all strands of secondary education from 1st year right up to Leaving Cert. The programme seeks to improve literacy and critical thinking skills while helping students develop a deeper understanding of news media and how it communicates about the world around them.
