Mintel Irish Reports is a based market intelligence agency who create and distribute reports and consumer data to libraries, businesses and other institutions. Mintel also includes a short news articles.
This resource is available under licence. One condition of the licence is that access is restricted to authorised users - teachers and learners in the Further Education & Training sector, so a username and password is required.
The web page to get to Mintel is a password-protected page you can find linked on the Access page of this section. On this page you will find a username, password and link you can use to access Mintel
Once you have access to the username and password, go the Mintel Login screen. Here you will be able to login with the username and password you acquired from the Mintel Access page
There are two main sections to Mintel:
After logging in, you will be brought to the Mintel homepage where you can search Mintel's consumer reports and other written content.
Use the search bar on the left side of the screen to search Mintel's consumer reports and other information.
Another means of looking through consumer reports is to us the filters available in middle of the page.
You can also filter results by content type and sort by relevance or newest first using the two dropdown menus.
To search consumer data, click 'Analytics' at the top of page.
To search the consumer data, simply use the search bar on the top left side of the page.
After searching, Mintel provides you with two sets of results: report titles and questions. Questions are the specific questions asked consumers as part of Mintel's research.
