• ETBI's PL&D unit has partnered with the Digital Learning Institute (DLI) to deliver a series of webinars to help demystify the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning and how it can be used in FET practice.

Do AI Dream of Electric Sheep? (September 2024)

• The aim of the session was to provide valuable insights into how we can adapt to and embrace these emerging generative AI technologies in our educational practices.

Gen AI and Large Languages Models (22nd September 2024)

• In this webinar recording we hear from Dr. Alan Smeaton, Professor Emeritus of Dublin City University.  Over the course of the webinar Alan will offer us insights into new research and will tell us about some real life use cases of AI in action across a number of sectors as well as discussing the immediate and future impacts and innovations around large language models and AI tools.

• This one hour webinar will take a practical and hands on look at the latest developments in AI for Learning. Joe will showcase the latest developments in a number of tools and how they are being applied in the learning context today. Also looking ahead to 2026 and examine what is coming in AI for Learning.
