A number of organisations are highlighted below, but this document Quick Reference Guide to Useful Services and Supports for Inclusion and Wellbeing is a useful guide, developed by SOLAS, listing details of organisations which may be of benefit to learners in the areas of inclusion and wellbeing
Alone
- Alone support older people at home.
- They have a dedicated COVID-19 support line
- Call 0818 222 024 (from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week)
Aware
- Aware provides support & information for people who experience depression or bipolar disorder and their concerned loved ones
- Freephone Support Line 1800 80 48 48 (from 10am to 10pm every day)
Barnado's
- Barnardo's has launched a national telephone support service for parents in response to the challenges they are facing during the Covid-19 pandemic
- Freephone 1800 910 123 (from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday)
BeLonG To
- BeLonG To provide support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI+) young people in Ireland
- Text LGBTI+ to 086 1800 280 for 24/7 support (standard SMS rates may apply)
Bodywhys
- Bodywhys provides support and information services to people affected by eating disorders
- BodywhysConnect online support groups for adults (19+) with eating disorders
- YouthConnect online support groups for young people aged 13-18
- Helpline 01 2107906 (Monday, Wednesday and Sunday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and Saturday from 10.30am to 12.30pm)
Crisis Text Line
- is an anonymous 24/7 messaging support service with trained volunteers available to listen to people going through a tough time.

Drugs.ie
- HSE's national drug information and support website
- A comprehensive range of information and supports related to substance use.

Exchange House
- Provides front line and support services to travellers
- Call 01 8721094 for support, help or advice (from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday)
Helplink.ie
- A mental health charity providing free counselling during the COVID-19 crisis
- Call 091 759887 or 0818 998880 (during office hours) or email helplinksupport@helplink.ie
Jigsaw
- Jigsaw is the National Centre for Youth Mental Health
- Mental health information and a Q&A service for young people, their parents and guardians, and those who work with young people.
- Jigsaw also offer an online group chat service.

Mental Health Ireland
- Promoting positive mental health and wellbeing to all individuals and communities in Ireland
- Information line (01) 284 1166 (from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday)
Pieta House
- Pieta provides free therapy to those engaging in self-harm, with suicidal ideation, or bereaved by suicide
- Freephone 1800 247 247 (any time, day or night)
- Text HELP to 51444 (standard message rates apply)
Samaritans Ireland
- The Samaritans aim to provide support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide

Shine
- Shine aim to empower people with mental ill health and their families through support, information and education.
- Shine offers a confidential email support service for anyone who doesn’t feel ready or able to speak to someone in person or on the phone. Contact phil@shine.ie

- Ireland's youth information website focusing on wellbeing and good physical and mental health
- They offer anonymous support 24/7 with a text message support service

- They also have a dedicated COVID-19 section
TENI
- The Transgender Equality Network Ireland
- TENI seeks to improve the situation and advance the rights and equality of trans people and their families
- Parent support groups across the island of Ireland and are extremely helpful for parents of trans children
