These eBooks are available under licence. One condition of the licence is that access is restricted to authorised users - teachers and learners in the Further Education & Training sector, so a username and password is required.
Depending upon where you are and local policies, your details may be supplied to the digital library who will create an account for you (Pre-Registration, below) or you can request an account while providing the necessary details (Self-registration, also below).
There are a few steps to go through to activate your account. It's boring, but straightforward. You need to
If your details have been supplied to the digital library, you should receive or have received an email that looks like this.
Check your junk or spam folders. It will be from "ebooksupport"
and say:
The mail will contain your username and a link to activate your account. Click on this - it takes you to the sign-in page. On the sign-in page, click on
Enter your email address
Tick Reset my Password
Click Send Email
The email you receive will contain a password reset code.
Click the Enter Reset Code link
Enter the code and click Continue
Create a password at least eight characters long and click Set Password. You now have a username and password for ProQuest eBook Central
If you did not receive an email with your account details, you can ask the digital library to create an account for you. On the eBook Central sign in page, click the button.

An account activation email will b e sent to your ETB/college/training centre email. If you don't receive it, check your spam/junk folder. If it's not there, contact the library.
