The ETBI RPL conference 'Mainstreaming RPL in the ETB FET context' launched the report 'Evaluation of TOBAR' - a pilot project in the recognition of prior learning. The conference presentations and report are available on a new RPL page in the Document Library Section.

A page has been added to the Electrical Subject Guide, detailing some of the Electrical eBooks that we have access to on the ProQuest eBook Central platform
The library has access to the ProQuest eBook Central platform and is currently acquiring ebooks that may be of interest to learners and practitioners. A guide to the platform and its features is available under the Resources tab, and we'll shortly start adding ebook pages to various sections of the site to highlight ebooks that we have purchased

We have a new blog in the Health and Wellbeing Section, which aims to provide articles and updates by ETBs and other key stakeholders on topical issues in the areas of health and wellbeing. The first post provides a little more information on the intent and content of the blog.
Google Scholar is a useful resource for finding full-text scholarly material. A new section under Resources provides a guide to using Google Scholar, looking at basic and advanced searching and the various features of the platform

Two new subject guides have been added for the programmes: Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care and Certificate in Early Learning and Care. The content in these subject guides have been organised by module.
New document library page: FET Learner Survey Report. ETBI undertook a survey of the lived experience of FET learners during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. The report provides results, analysis and recommendations for future work.
ETBI FET Digital Library is happy to announce our new blog, Inside FET. Inside FET is ETBI’s blog designed to showcase, promote, and disseminate best practice, knowledge and updates in the Further Education and Training (FET) sector in Ireland. Our vision is to help foster a sectoral community of practice. The blog is maintained by the ETBI FET Digital Library. Posts are contributed by people working throughout the FET Sector. The blog can be found in the site header.

New page on the Document Library: Universal Design for Learning (UDL) containing the reports on UDL Guidance for FET Practitioners.
Five subject guides, Carpentry and Joinery, Electrical, Metal Fabrication, Motor Mechanics and Plumbing, now have mobile friendly versions. You will automatically be brought to the mobile sites if you access these guides from a mobile device. You can access the desktop guides by clicking "Full Site" at the bottom of each page.

A new section, Document Library, will host publications by, produced on behalf of and about the ETB FET sector and is intended to raise their visibility. Like the Digital Library itself, this section is under construction and new material will be added as and when it becomes available
Two new pages in the Literacy Resources Section: Family Learning Resources - family learning encourages family members to learn together to help parents support their children's literacy and numeracy development. This page provides resources and sources of information on the topic. ESOL Resources; resources for teachers and learners of English as a second language.
Numeracy Resources section added under Electronic Resources. This includes the Maths for Trades workbooks, sectoral resources and useful web resources
New page in Metal Fabrication subject guide: Resources, which has some maths resources relevant to the metal working craft apprenticeship
Two pages added to the Online Learning section: a short introduction to Moodle with video and how to access Office 365 (and other sites) on your XBox or PlayStation. Some new online learning-related links added too.
