This version of the eligibility guidelines for “Access to Further Education and Training Programmes” was developed by ETBI in conjunction with a dedicated Task Group, comprised of Guidance and Admissions Staff from eight ETBs. The document itself has been widely anticipated across the sector and is intended to support colleagues in determining eligibility for applicants to Further Education and Training Courses. An accompanying workshop will be rolled out to support Admissions staff on the key aspects of the updated document and to assist in providing a structured approach in determining a prospective applicant’s eligibility for FET. Further details of this will be communicated when available.
This document will be revisited twice yearly, with updates and/or amendments being acknowledged in the date on the front cover.
